      Remember that once you purchase your tickets on our web site, you will receive your itinerary by mail than you can make your payment. If you don’t have an email account and your purchase was made at the call center, your itinerary will be given to you at the moment of purchase.

      If you do not print your boarding pass, you can go to the kiosks (available at  Cancún, Guadalajara, México, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Tijuana airports) to print your boarding pass upon arriving to the airport.  Otherwise you have to pay for Personalized Attention Service* at the airport counter.

      You can contact our Call Center so it can be given to you once again. On the day of your flight go directly to the airport and provide a picture ID.

      Nothing, it is free for everyone

      Yes, you can choose your seat at the moment of purchase, whether it be in the emergency exits or any row you wish. Prices vary according to national and international flights or if you choose the emergency exit.

      Once you print your boarding pass by web you will get the following benefits:

      • Choosing any Regular Seat for free 
      • Going directly to the boarding gate if you are not checking baggage (only for domestic flights) 

      To print your electronic invoice, just follow these steps:

    Changes and Cancellations

      Itinerary changes can be made by paying the fare difference and the applicable fee:

      • Changes made 24 hours before the flight $580 MXN (tax included) for national flights and $58 USD (tax included) for international flights

      • Between 24 and 4 hrs before the flight $850 MXN (tax included) for national flights and $85 USD (tax included) for international flights*

       * For every flight with USA as origin or destination, reservations can be changed or cancelled within 24 hours without penalty as long as the reservation was made with 7 days or more prior to the flight’s scheduled departure time.

      To change the name on your ticket, you can purchase the Name Change service through our Call Center up to 72 hours before your flight departure.

      Cancellations are not allowed, the ticket is non transferable and the amount paid cannot be refunded or used toward another reservation.

      For every flight with USA as origin or destiny, reservations can be cancelled within 24 hours without penalty as long as the reservation was made with 7 days or more prior to the flight’s scheduled departure time.

      Go to volaris.com and in Manage your booking, select Change your flight option, provide the required data and follow the next steps:

        1. Select the flight(s) you want to change

        2. Select origin, destination and date of travel

        3. Select your desired flight(s)

        4. Select seats again, previous seat assignments will be lost

        5. Select additional services you need

        6. Select your payment method and enjoy your trip

      Note: you can only pay itinerary changes with Credit Card

      If you don’t use your ticket for the selected flight, it can not be refunded; you will not be able to make use of the service on another flight or reservation. It’s not transferable either.

      If a flight is late, cancelled or if a delay/ cancellation occurs and you miss a connecting flight, Volaris will relocate affected clients as soon as possible on available flights.

    • You cannot make changes:

      • within 4 hours before your flight departure

      • if you already made Web Check-in

      • if your reservation is not totally paid (if you selected to hold your reservation or third party payment and you haven’t completed the payment)

      • from domestic to international routes and vice versa

    • For round trips: when the outbound flight already took off, you can only make changes of date and hour of the inbound flight

    • You cannot make online changes if you reservation was made through a travel agency

    • Changes online can only be made for all the customers in the reservation

    • Additional services purchased on the original reservation will be automatically added when making changes (subject to availability)

    Luggage

      • Free checked baggage: you are allowed to take one checked bag of 55 pounds maximum (25 kg)
      • Checked baggage (fee applied): each extra bag must be of 55 pounds maximum (25 kg). You can add up to 4 additional checked bags.
      • Free Carry- on: 2 pieces of 15 pounds maximum (7 kg)
      • Carry-on (fee applied): one extra piece of 22 pounds maximum (10 kg)

      If your checked baggage exceeds the allowed weight, you must pay for the overweight fee applicable.

      If your luggage does not arrive please immediately notify our airport staff so we can provide the necessary attention you must report lost or damaged baggage before leaving the arrival gate.       Select volaris.cargo-sales.net and enter your airbill number (Prefix: 036, A02 or AMM + an 8 digit number).

      Volaris will offer transportation services for virtually all kinds of items except for the following:

      • Dead animals
      • Plants
      • Alcoholic beverages, up to 24°
      • Leather items from animals in danger of extinction
      • Solvents and/or corrosive items
      • Prescription medications and controlled substances
      • Ivory items or material
      • Frozen or refrigerated goods
      • Laboratory samples (including toxic and hazardous material, or special materials requiring special handling)
      • Foreign goods without appropriate import documentation
      • Narcotic substances, drugs, or inhaled substances, as determined in the General Health Legislation
      • Radioactive or magnetic substances
      • Firearms, including any components, armory, or ammo storage
      • Money, credit instruments, and precious metals and jewelry
      • Explosives and compressed gas material
      • Flammable solids or liquids
      • Oxidizable material
      • Irritant material or infectious substances
      • Vehicles
      • Toxic, restricted and/or dangerous material, in accordance to all regulations set forth by the International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO
      • Any goods that may be constituted as dangerous or posing any kind of risk to the aircraft, the passengers on board, and any other goods, whose transportation is prohibited by law or any applicable government disposition
      • Any other good or item that Volaris deems as non-transportable due to its nature

      We recommend that you select the size of the packing materials according to package content. For example, boxes that are not entirely filled may collapse, conversely, those that are too full, may tear. For this reason, we suggest using high quality wrapping materials to ship your goods.

      Additionally, we recommend using impact-absorbing material, specifically material that will ensure your content stays in place and does not shift with motion. Select double reinforced corrugated carton boxes, with high quality external edges and close your boxes with resistant straps or adhesive tape to protect your shipment.

      Volaris is responsible for complying with liability limitations set forth in the Civil Aviation Act, however if you are interested in acquiring additional insurance, you are welcome to do so under your own personal terms.

      It may be a birth certificate or a vaccination card. For international flights you must bring  also passport and visa for the minor or infant.

      A minor between 2 and 11 years old, pay full rate for a ticket.

      An infant 7 days old up to 2 years old, travels paying an additional fee of $399 MXN or $39 USD (tax included) for domestic or international flights, as long as he travels with an adult who has a ticket. The infant fee allows the adult to take baby items.

    Warranties

      If you purchase this product and you arrive at your final destination more than 30 minutes after the schedule arrival documented by the Operative Control Center, you will receive an electronic certificate of $1,000 MXN or $100 USD (depending on the booking currency) to buy more Volaris tickets and keep flying with us. If you bought a round trip you will receive the certificate per flight, only on the delayed one.

      • The gift certificate cannot will be sent to the email address registered upon purchase. The email address must be valid.
      • The gift certificate cannot be used by anybody else and it will be valid for a full year after the date it was sent to your email. It can only be used to pay a flight service.
      • This gift certificate does not include TAX and can be used when making a reservation through our Call Center or in volaris.com selecting “Electronic Credit” as payment method.
