On your next trip with Volaris, we want you to feel safe travelling with us. Your safety and well-being are our priority, and therefore, with the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like you to know that we are prepared to deal with this, taking into account the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the local authorities in every country where we operate.

We want you to feel safe traveling with us and to know that we are prepared to deal with this situation in the following manner:

Prevention is everyone’s responsibility

Together we can make our flights safer by following the measures laid down by the health authorities:

  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • If you do not feel well, please report to the airport health authorities and inform our customer service agents so that they can advise you.
  • During boarding: avoid crowding, respect lines and follow the crew’s instructions.

Prior to boarding

For the wellness of our customers, crew, flight attendants and airport personnel, we are sanitizing our aircraft continuously.

Should you have any symptoms, our airport personnel are trained to assist you at all times together with the health authorities.

In the aircraft

It is important to know that our aircraft are equipped with air filters that renew the cabin air every 3 minutes, which equates to a clean-air quality on a level with a hospital operating room.

The HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air) eliminate up to 99.9% of particles*, among them viruses and bacteria. In addition, the crew can provide you with antibacterial hand gel whilst boarding and during the flight.

With help from our flight attendants, we carry out a continual, on-board monitoring procedure to detect potential symptoms and enforce the preventive measures which safeguard the health of all of our customers and staff.
